My career in the construction industry began in 1969 in the ski resort of Mammoth Lakes, Calif., building high-density vacation condominium projects.

This opportunity led to similar developments in Colorado and Idaho, until I embarked upon independent business in 1973 by starting "Americo Construction, Inc.", a general contracting company in Sun Valley, Idaho.

After working another ten years in this realm, I returned to graduate school and earned a Master of Architecture degree in 1989 from the Southern California Institute of Architecture ("SCI-Arc"), an avante-garde, world-renowned, and radically-independent private institution in Santa Monica, Calif..

In 1992 the fine duplex home depicted in the photo gallery was designed and construction begun.
